The poster of 'The Businessman' |
First
it was an occasional dubbed film from Telugu that made its way to Kerala. Then
came Allu Arjun (I should be using this opportunity to put up one of his yummy pictures, but since this one is not about him, sense of duty stops me from doing it). Suddenly Tollywood realized the market potential of Kerala.
Malayalam actors act incredibly well, but if they have to be evaluated in terms of looks, they would score a neat “above-average”. The ones from Telugu however are, by default, spectacular. Exceptions are rare. So, after Allu Arjun, Ram Charan decided to release his ‘Magadheera’ in Malayalam. It was rechristened as ‘Dheera’. The film came and went.

Now,
it is Mahesh Babu’s turn. His ‘Businessman’ was recently released in Kerala.
Frankly,
better choice would have been ‘Dookudu’. It had action, comedy and fabulous
music. Mahesh Babu looked very good in it. Samantha, the heroine, didn’t strain
much in the acting department. It was a wade-in-wade-out role for her. But the
actresses who appeared as her friend and mother, they held the attention.
